And if you are going to need the help of others to get there, then your leadership skills need to improve.  Everyone views leadership differently, but before you even define what type of a leader you want to be, you need to learn the basic premise behind leading others.  If your real purpose for leading others is on-point, then any style of leadership will likely work.

That’s right, it’s not about you when you’re leading others.  When you learn to help others get what they want, they will always find ways to help you get what you want as well.  The key is that you must give first.  Give your time, your money, your talents.  And if you feel as though you have nothing to give, then give them hope.  Give to help others achieve their goals.  It is often taught that leadership is a win-lose proposition.  If you want to win, then you need to step on others to get there.  Not True!  If you must hurt others to get where you want to go, then it’s not a destination worth going.

Whether you want success in business, finances, academics, sports or in your personal life, you will need the help of others to get there.  Start finding ways to help those people that you will need get whatever they want in their own lives.  If you wait to give to them until you have gotten what you want, you will be waiting forever.  You must give first, before you receive.  Give your way to success today.

You were put here for a purpose, you are greater than you realize and your future will be filled with unlimited opportunities when you decide to become unstoppable.
